Nobody wants a creator coin.

Creators want to get paid. Fans want access. Here’s why peek uses tokens, and why you never have to think about yours.

Nobody wants a coin for its own sake. What fans pay for is access: getting closer to you, and knowing it’s really you on the other end.

Creator coins missed that. They sold a price chart with nothing behind it, and most of those charts went to zero.

peek starts with access. You get a private room: a group chat with up to 1,000 fans, where you post and sell. A fan gets in by holding a key, which is 10,000 of your tokens. The fans who hold the most become your top fans, and they can DM you directly.

That’s what your token is for. Fans aren’t betting on a chart. They’re holding their spot. When one leaves, he sells his key to the next fan in line, and you get a cut of the sale.

Here’s why the old coins failed, how access changes the math, and what it’s worth to you.

01Creator coins failed for a simple reason.

You launched a coin. Fans bought it hoping it would go up. You earned a little each time they traded. That was the whole product. There was nothing to do with the coin except sell it, and nothing you could sell your fans through it.

They paid you to be a price chart.

way to get paid: someone trades the coin
No drops, no DMs, no room

When there’s no reason to hold something, people don’t. Nobody quits OnlyFans for $26. The coins didn’t fail because creators didn’t understand crypto. They failed because they never paid anyone for the thing creators actually make.

02friend.tech got closer. Then it ran out of reasons.

friend.tech worked for a while because the key bought something. Hold someone’s key and you got into their chat. Access is a real reason to hold, and adult creators figured that out fast.

Access sells

The key got you into her chat. That was the whole difference.

Creators were paid only when keys traded. When trading slowed, so did the money. The team walked away in September 2024.

Then the chats got quiet. Most weren’t worth being in. Selling inside the room wasn’t built in, so the only way a creator got paid was when someone traded her key. Fees came from speculation, and speculation runs out.

Two lessons. Access is the right reason to hold. And access only lasts if there’s something inside worth paying for, and the creator is paid for it directly, every time.

03What you actually want is the boring part.

Money. Paid on time. In amounts you can count on.

Here’s where that money comes from today. OnlyFans’ audited numbers show subscriptions shrinking while pay-per-view, tips and messages grow. Agencies that run accounts say about three quarters of a managed account’s revenue comes from messages, and about one fan in ten produces nine of every ten message dollars.

So your account isn’t really a content business. It’s an inbox. And an inbox that size is more than one person can answer.

04Independent? Congratulations, you have six jobs.

Running an account alone means you’re the talent, the marketer, the chat team, the sales team and the night shift. Every day. Here’s the job description.

Nobody can do all six well, every day, for years. So most creators who get big get help. That’s what an agency is: someone to take five of those jobs off your plate. Signing with one isn’t a mistake. For most accounts, it’s the only way to grow.

The catch is the price. Management commonly takes 30 to 50% of what OnlyFans leaves you, and some contracts reportedly take more. That’s why the 80% OnlyFans advertises isn’t what most top creators keep.

$32
$48
OnlyFansAgency, at 40%You

Agency cuts usually run 30–50% of what OnlyFans leaves you. Some contracts go to 70%. Across that range you keep $24–$56.

The problem isn’t agencies, or the creators who sign with them. It’s that the job is too big for one person, and the only fix on offer costs up to half of what you make. peek is built to make it a job for one person again.

05Your marketing finally pays you.

OnlyFans doesn’t help strangers find you. There’s no feed of creators a fan doesn’t already subscribe to. So every fan you have, you found somewhere else: a Reddit post, a TikTok, a story. That work pays you nothing. It only pays off if someone clicks through, subscribes, and sticks around.

peek has the feed OnlyFans never built. Short clips, each with a free preview of five to fifteen seconds, your call. To keep watching, a fan unlocks. The ad is the sale.

This is new money. It doesn’t come out of what your fans already spend on you. It comes from people who would never have found you, paying you the first time they see you.

Half of every unlock goes to you. The other half buys the fan your tokens, and you earn the fee on that trade too. That half isn’t a cut. It’s what turns a stranger into a fan: every unlock gets them closer to a key and a spot in your room. Once they’re in, there’s no split.

06Access your fans can own.

Ten thousand of your tokens make a key, and a key is access. It does three jobs you’d otherwise do yourself, or pay someone to do.

Every time your tokens trade, you earn a cut. Nobody has to buy a new set and you don’t have to be awake. Upside, never the base.

And they do one job for your fans. On the feed, half of every unlock buys them your tokens. What they spend isn’t gone. It moves them closer to your room.

Why not just a subscription?

Fair question. A subscription could be a guest list, and a spending chart could find your whales. Here’s what a subscription can’t do.

It can’t price itself. On OnlyFans you pick a number and hope it’s right. With 1,000 spots in your room, demand sets the price of getting in. When more people want in, it costs more, and you never had to raise anything.

It can’t be passed on. A subscription is gone the moment it’s paid. A key isn’t. A fan can sell it to the next fan in line, so he’s willing to pay more to get in, and you earn a cut every time a key changes hands.

  • Who sets the priceSubscription: You pick a number and hopeKey: Demand does, with 1,000 spots
  • When everyone wants inSubscription: Same price as alwaysKey: Getting in costs more
  • When a fan leavesSubscription: What he paid is goneKey: He sells his key to the next fan
  • What you earn when he leavesSubscription: NothingKey: Your cut of the trade

A subscription rents access. A key is access your fans own, and the market keeps pricing it for you.

Creator coins asked fans to gamble on a price. peek gives them a reason to hold that has nothing to do with price: you.

You set your prices in dollars. Fans pay in USDC or ETH. You’re paid in USDC or ETH, your choice, when fans pay. USDC is a digital dollar. It doesn’t go up or down.

Getting it into your bank is a one-time setup: link an app like Coinbase or Robinhood, send your USDC there, and withdraw to your bank account like any other transfer.

Your token earns on its own. Every time a fan buys in to get closer, or sells his key to the next fan in line, you get a cut. Asleep, offline, or on set.

08Here’s what that’s worth.

Two parts. First, what your fans already spend on you. In your room and DMs you keep 95%.

If you’re independent, that’s $95 of every $100 instead of $80, about 19% more of the same money. And the two biggest of your six jobs, getting found and chatting, are built in.

If you work with an agency, you keep $24 to $56 of every $100 today. On peek you’d keep 1.7 to 2.4 times as much. Your fans could spend about 41% less and you’d still come out ahead.

Second, the feed. Everything above is money you already make somewhere. The feed is on top: strangers paying you the first time they see you. How much depends on how far your clips travel, so we won’t pretend to know your number. But a Reddit post pays you nothing, and a $10 unlock pays you about $5.05.

Trading comes on top of both, and it’s a range, never a promise. If your tokens are worth $1.5 million in total and 0.5 to 3% of them trade each day, your share works out to roughly $2,250 to $13,500 a month.

09Less work, not more.

The two biggest jobs are the ones creators most often hand off: traffic and chatting. peek builds both in.

Traffic is the feed. Short clips with a free preview, five to fifteen seconds, your call. Every clip is its own ad, and unlike a Reddit post, it pays you. Most can be cuts of what you already shoot.

Chatting is your room. One message reaches everyone in it. Drop a set and the room buys it, like selling into your Telegram, except fans pay in one tap and you keep 95%. Your top fans post free. Everyone else pays to post, or you turn posting off.

Your whales get a direct line. Your top fans DM you free, and you pick how many, so it’s never more than you can answer yourself. Anyone else can pay to DM you, if you allow it. You set the price and a daily limit. If you don’t reply within 72 hours, they’re refunded.

10Fans want her. Not a chatter.

Fans have figured out that on big accounts, the person typing back often isn’t the creator. A federal class action filed in 2024 alleges agencies hired chatters to pose as creators. A judge dismissed the fraud claims in May 2026, partly because OnlyFans’ terms say creators can use third parties. A privacy claim against the agencies is still going.

That’s not a knock on anyone. It’s what happens when one person is juggling hundreds of conversations at once. On peek, the inbox is small enough that your top fans talk to you. Those DMs come from your verified account, and shared logins and inbox tools aren’t allowed on them. Paid DMs are refunded if you don’t answer.

It’s more likely to be you on peek than anywhere else your fans are paying. That’s worth more to them than anything a chatter can type, and they’ll pay more for it.

11Where this isn’t for you.

We’d rather you hear it from us.

  • The math assumes your fans follow you here. Some won’t, at least not right away. That’s the real risk.
  • You can only answer so many DMs. Your room and paid DMs have to carry the rest.
  • Fans need a wallet. That’s a real step, and some won’t take it.
  • Trading is volatile. Don’t plan your rent around it.
  • Nothing here is exclusive. Keep your OnlyFans. Keep your agency if it’s working for you. Post here too, and see what pays.

So, does the coin matter?

It matters because access matters.

To your fans, it’s the way in. It’s how they get into your room, how they become one of your top fans, and why what they spend on you doesn’t just disappear.

To you, it’s a price for access that sets itself, a list of your best fans that keeps itself, and a cut of every trade.

Creator coins asked fans to bet on a chart. peek gives them a way in, and pays you for every one.

Applications are open for the first cohort of verified creators.
